The SEA6000VX HS Finder finds contaminants inside a sample by detecting fluorescent X-rays that penetrate the sample. The data in the center image below is a five minute element map of iron taken of iron powder in a tablet. It can also detect iron powder inside a sample that cannot be seen from the surface of the sample.
